QUEENSLAND FLOOD DISASTER - HELP AND ASSISTANCE

The 2022 Brisbane and South East Queensland Flood event has devestated our performing arts communities. Venues have been inundated and homes have been damaged or lost.

The Fund is offering emergency financial assistance to performing arts professionals in this distressing time. To apply for assistance, please fill in an application here. We will be in touch within 24 hours.

INDUSTRIAL SUPPORT

During this challenging time, many of us will have lost work and income due to cancelled contracts, show closures, and postponements. MEAA offers legal industrial support to all financial members of Equity. During the 2022 Queensland Flood Disaster, you may need this support. If you are not a member, Equity welcomes your application today. Once you have joined your professional guild, MEAA can represent you in your negotiations. You can join here.

It is important to know that all matters referred to the Benevolent Fund Flood Disaster committee are kept in the strictest confidence.
