COVID-19 is an unprecedented crisis for the global entertainment sector, and we in Queensland are feeling the full force of the financial impact. If you are effected financially by cancellations during this period, there is help available.

INDUSTRIAL SUPPORT

During this challenging time, many of us will have lost work and income due to cancelled contracts, show closures, and postponements. MEAA offers legal industrial support to all financial members of Equity. During the COVID-19 crisis, MEAA have waived the waiting period to access their legal support for new members. WORKING OUTSIDE THE ARTS

If you have skills outside your work as a performing artist, many of our colleagues are finding work or volunteering through Arts Tasker; a group set up to connect arts workers with employment utilizing their broader skill-set. Please visit the link here.
